My stay at Hilton Athens was quite enjoyable. The hotel exudes luxury with its opulent marble lobby and spacious rooms offering stunning views of the Acropolis. The breakfast spread was really good, though I was a bit disappointed that the indoor pool was out of service during my visit. Overall, it's a fantastic option for a luxury retreat in Athens.

Rooms

My room was spacious and clean, nicely lit with a big king bed and a lovely balcony view of the Acropolis. The bathroom was luxurious with a full-size inset bath and a strong rain shower. However, I noticed some wear on the wooden flooring, which felt a bit out of place for a five-star hotel.
Service
10.0
The staff were friendly and professional. They were always ready to help, providing me with tips on local dining options and assisting with taxi arrangements. Their attentiveness made my experience even more pleasant.
Location

The hotel is conveniently located near two subway stations, making it easy to explore Athens. Although the busy street outside can be a bit noisy, the surrounding trees create a nice oasis feel in the city.

Breakfast was a highlight for me, with a wide range of high-quality options. I appreciated that they still offered eggs made to order, alongside fresh fruits and other local delicacies, enhancing the overall dining experience.

While I enjoyed the luxurious indoor pool atmosphere, I was disappointed that it was out of service during my stay. I look forward to trying it next time, especially with the high-pressure jets for a nice massage.

I had a mixed experience at Hilton Athens. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially during breakfast, which was a good way to start my day. However, my suite lacked the promised Acropolis view and had some cleanliness issues, such as a stained table and an empty minibar. Overall, the hotel has potential but could use some improvements in maintaining their standards.

Rooms

My suite was relatively large and modern, but it didn't have the Acropolis view as promised. There were cleanliness concerns, including stains on the table and a lack of basic amenities like cups.

The location was convenient, with easy access to the metro and a pleasant 20-minute walk to the city center. It also offered stunning views over Athens, especially from the rooftop bar.

The hotel featured an impressive rooftop bar with beautiful views, though I was disappointed the indoor pool was under repair during my stay. The fitness facilities looked good, but I didn’t use them.

I had a wonderful experience at Hilton Athens, bolstered by the friendly and professional staff, especially George, who ensured everything ran smoothly. The room was modern and comfortable, though I was caught off guard by an unexpected breakfast charge. Nonetheless, the amenities like the pool and the rooftop bar made my stay quite enjoyable.

My room was modern, clean, and offered stunning views of the Acropolis. It featured both a bath and a powerful shower, though I missed having a bathrobe.

The location was perfect, just a short walk from the metro and close to Kolonaki. I appreciated the convenience of nearby transportation options, making it easy to explore Athens.

I enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet which had great options, but I was disappointed by the unexpected €50 charge. I'd recommend confirming meal inclusions upon check-in to avoid surprises.

I had a wonderful stay at Hilton Athens, thanks to the really good staff and the stunning view of the Acropolis from my room's balcony. The buffet breakfast surpassed my expectations with a great variety of delicious options. However, the swimming pool was closed during my visit, which was a disappointment, and I found the dining prices a bit excessive for what they offered.

The breakfast had a fantastic selection, including made-to-order omelets, but I found the prices for other meals and drinks to be quite steep.

My stay at Hilton Athens had its ups and downs. The stunning city views from the rooftop bar were definitely a highlight, and the breakfast was fantastic with attentive staff. However, I faced some major letdowns with the service, especially regarding my promised room and upgrade that never happened, which kinda overshadowed the experience for me.

Rooms
5.0
The suite was decent, but it didn't have the promised Acropolis view and some furniture was stained. The absence of basic amenities like glasses was surprising, especially during this time.
Service
5.0
While some staff were friendly, my experience with the front desk was frustrating. I was denied a Diamond upgrade, and there seemed to be misinformation about room availability that really left a bad taste.
Location
6.0
The hotel is located just off Syntagma Square, which is convenient for public transport, but I found the area lacking in nearby restaurants and shops.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast had a great selection and was well-served, but the in-room dining prices were ridiculously high. The restaurant seemed understaffed during my visit, leading to long wait times for drinks.
Facilities
6.0
The indoor pool was a relaxing feature, but the shut-down of the Executive Lounge and the empty minibar were disappointing, especially since they impacted the overall experience negatively.
